Job Description

  • Handling exports (Ocean/Land\Air) & all the related formalities.
  • Managing correspondences with the buyers & sellers
  • Ensuring timely processing of customers’ orders along with meticulous documentation.
  • Preparing entire documentation right from the purchase orders, order confirmations, sales confirmations, pre-shipment documents, post-shipment documents.
  • Follow-ups with the suppliers for timely delivery of the product and necessary documents.
  • Obtaining DG approval from shipping lines and air lines
  • Arranging Local transportation, Inspection, Labelling.
  • Managing ISO related requirements of the department
  • Managing shipments of both hazardous & non-hazardous shipments.
  • Negotiating freight rates with the agents.
  • Handling third party shipments.
  • Co-ordinating with CHAs & Freight forwarders for timely execution of shipment
  • Negotiating freight rates
  • Planning shipments per the delivery schedule asked by the customer and ensuring timely execution of the same
  • Handling documentation and packaging for hazardous goods
  • Checking & Approving suppliers bills, Freight forwarders, Clearing House Agents [CHA],
    Palletizations, and other vendors bills to be submitted to accounts department on time.
