Job Description

The CFO will be a key executive responsible for overseeing all financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and capital management, while also contributing to strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Reporting: • Develop and manage the company's financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. • Prepare and present financial statements and reports to management and stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. • Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations • Review and presentation of MIS and audited accounts along with independent auditor Cost Management and Control: • Analyze and manage manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead. • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies. • Monitor and control cash flow to ensure the company's financial stability. Capital Management: • Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing. • Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities. • Oversee treasury functions, including cash management and banking relationships. Strategic Planning and Decision-Making: • Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to develop and implement financial strategies. • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. • Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities. Leadership and Team Management: • Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support. • Develop and implement training programs for finance staff. • Ensure a high-performing and motivated finance team. Specific to Operations: • Understand the unique financial challenges and opportunities of the manufacturing industry. • Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure financial alignment. • Analyze production costs and identify areas for improvement. Position Requirements: • Excellent written and spoken communication skills • Will need to travel within India and overseas as required • Advanced degree in Finance or Economics; CFA or MBA preferred. • A minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace and defense or manufacturing industry as CFO required. • A proven track record of leading the finance or related commercial success and technical skills is desired for this position. • Expertise in budgeting, risk management, financial reporting, and strategic planning
