ο§ Database management and maintenance, with skills of relational and non-relational databases like Solr, Redis, Dynamo DB, My Sql, Cassandra, PostgreSQL.
ο§ DB BCP & DR practice as per Policy
ο§ Monitor DB query response time using AWS provided tool and analyze if response is breaching KPI threshold set by client.
ο§ Fix the DB related issue or alert relevant team members or 3rd Party service providers like CSP β AWS managed DB service issues like Infrastructure or network related changes/degradation.
ο§ Scheduled preventive maintenance like cache, memory checks, logs rotation, patch upgrade ect.,
ο§ Prepare Database management policies in concurrence with Team.
ο§ Work on DB optimization and migration is required to other best suited database
ο§ Ensuring AZ DB maintenance for Axinom CMS proper functioning.
ο§ Ensuring compliance to Data life cycle management as per policy.
Work Experience β
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
β’ Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
β’ Must have experience with monitoring technologies including New Relic, Dynatrace, DataDog, Splunk etc
β’ Must have monitoring or troubleshooting experience for business-critical and revenue-generating platforms.
β’ Must have experience with Database administration and performance tuning.
β’ Must have knowledge on System Administration from DB perspective of Linux, Unix and Windows.
β’ Must have experience implementing and maintaining monitoring policies and best practices.
β’ Excellent problem solving skills and keen ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
β’ Experience in Java and UNIX shell or MS Powershell scripts.
β’ Demonstrated ability of industry standard process frameworks (ITIL / Six Sigma).
β’ Demonstrated ability to work with operational concerns and teams.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
β’ Ability to work independently or in a team and meet deadlines.
β’ Ability to manage multiple projects.
β’ Capability to understand Backup/Restoration and BCP/DR strategy.
β’ Atleast One SQL Certification (Oracle/PostgreSQL)
