• 5+ years working as a database developer working with PostgreSQL.
• Expert Level of PL/PgSQL including stored procedures, functions, triggers and views.
• Knowledge of datatype like array, record, cursors and SQL functions.
• Strong knowledge of extension usage and psql tool commands.
• Knowledge of table partitioning, exception handling, finding the cause of error and job scheduling.
• Knowledge of XML,JSON and PostgreSQL support for JSON.
• Experience with OLAP/OLTP advanced queries and Dynamic sql.
• Ability to efficiently write database code without compromising data quality, privacy or security.
• Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics ,security, scalability and transaction concurrency.
• Demonstrable experience working with huge, interdependent, complex datasets and data structures
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to evaluate alternative solutions and/or workarounds.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
