An experienced person having complete knowledge of Import, Export, Clearance, Documentation, Loading, Invoicing etc. for the Liquid Bulk (Petrochemical products)
Independently able to handle the Import / Export Consignments from start to end of the process.
Strategically plan and manage Logistics, Warehouse, Transportation and Customer services.
Keep track of Quality, Quantity, Stock levels, Delivery times, Transport Costs and Efficiency
Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
Meet Cost, Productivity, Accuracy and Timeliness Targets.
Ensure Smooth Functioning of Logistic department.
Organize Domestic transportation activities, including managing information accrued from point of Origin to Delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary.
Discuss and involve other Department Heads to overcome challenges and implement inputs provided by others with respect to logistics.
Analyze the Financial Impact of Logistics to determine most Cost-Effective / Efficient means of Transporting and Changes such as Routing, Shipping / Road Modes, Product Volumes & Mixes or Carriers.
A candidate with an experience of 2- 4 years in the Petrochemical Industry handling Logistics.
Strong understanding of the market conditions and trends.
Working knowledge of negotiation techniques in the industry.
Exceptional interpersonal and social skills to build a good rapport.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Great team player.
Coordinate with the Transporters for Transportation.
