Vendor Selection: Identifying potential vendors for services such as housekeeping supplies, laundry services, cleaning materials, and other domestic necessities.

Negotiation: Negotiating terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards with vendors to ensure the best value for the hotel.

Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts and agreements with selected vendors. This includes ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Supplier Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable and consistent service delivery. This may involve regular communication, performance evaluations, and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.

Budgeting and Cost Control: Developing and managing budgets for domestic contracting activities, including forecasting expenses and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

Quality Assurance: Monitoring the quality of products and services provided by vendors to ensure they meet the hotel's standards and guest expectations. This may involve conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels of domestic supplies to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and storage costs.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to domestic contracting activities. Identifying and mitigating risks associated with vendor relationships, such as supply chain disruptions or quality issues.
