Prepare and review all necessary post-shipment documents, including but not limited to, commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other relevant documents.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and other applicable laws for each destination country.
Collaborate with customs brokers and regulatory authorities to ensure proper documentation and adherence to customs clearance procedures.
Stay informed about changes in customs regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs officials to obtain and verify necessary documentation.
Communicate effectively with customers and partners to address any documentation-related queries or issues.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all post-shipment documentation.
Ensure documentation is archived and easily accessible for auditing purposes.
Stay informed about changes in international trade laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Implement and enforce compliance measures to mitigate risks associated with documentation errors.
Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in post-shipment documentation within an international trade or logistics environment.
Strong understanding of customs regulations and trade compliance.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in relevant software and systems for document preparation and recordkeeping.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
