Negotiate and coordinate rates with airlines. Airline visits and relationship building.
Strategize ways of increasing profits margins, while keeping cost at a minimum.
Assist the sales team with business development support and securing new business initiatives.
Coordination with internal stakeholders like Customer services, operations and accounts team.
Keep abreast with the freight worldwide market and provide the information to all parties.
Team review and monitoring. Communicate with management on pricing desk performance and ensure team development.
Follow up of quotations as needed and communicate the positive or negative feedback in respect of being able to source the competitive rate to support the closure of all business opportunities.
Handle sensitive and confidential documents and information.
Perform other related duties and projects as requested or assigned by management.
Understand clientsβ needs in order to strategy the costing and or pricing.
