• To make PFD and P&ID of process and make Bill of Material for piping, fittings, strainers, valves, etc.
• Discuss the BOQ with Design Department and float enquiry as per the sizing given by the design department.
• Make a document control index of all other requirements like pumps, tanks, reactors, columns, instruments, electrical items, etc. Get the technical data sheet from Design Department, and float the enquiry.
• Updates from suppliers, cost comparison, and technical evaluation to be prepared and submitted to the Technical Head.
• Follow up with the supplier after the Purchase Order is released. Get the drawing and nozzle orientation approved by the Manufacturing Head.
• Follow up for payments with the Finance Department.
• Inspection during various stages to be done for MOC verification, drawing verification, Nozzle Orientation verification, Agitator, and Hydrotest. All visit Reports are to be prepared and sent to the Manufacturing Head.
• New vendor development.
• Establish delivery terms, and time and make a Project Status Report.
• Keep Records of All PO with technical data sheets and communications.
• Keep Records of All approved drawings and dossier
• Follow up on Project Execution activities including fabrication, erection, and pre-commissioning activities as per the guidance of the Manufacturing Head.
• An excellent grasp of engineering, design principles, and design standards.
• Experience in process simulation, PFD and P&ID development, equipment sizing, system hydraulic calculations, safety valve, blow down, and vent sizing.
• Knowledge about the development of process datasheets of columns, vessels, pumps, instruments, etc.
• Possess good knowledge of industry and company standards such as HAZOP, API, SIL, etc.
• B.E (Mechanical). Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Maintenance / Designing/Planning/Project execution.
• X-XII – 85% and Degree – 8.5 CGPA4. Salary: 8-10 lacs depending on experience.
