Job Description

  • Procurement of pharmaceutical packaging materials - Aluminum Foils, Laminates, Cartons, Labels, Bottles, Caps, Tubes, etc.
  • Conforming to the quality and specifications as required from the marketing/sales team and creating standards and procedures for discussing with vendors of the packaging materials.
  • Negotiating with the vendors for prices, specifications, payments and delivery time, freight, and terms & conditions with them.
  • Following up with the vendors for delivery schedule and logistics of packaging material.
  • Monitor changes in the supply base and proactively manage any potential impact on future supply.
  • Overseeing along with quality team for checking of the materials during production stages and final inspections, checking the shade cards, and preparing the quality checklists.
  • Working with the documentation team to make sure all logistic and supply chain issues pertaining to the materials are being handled in proper manner for export shipments.
  • Maintaining and updating the Export Checklist, Purchase Order Reports and ensuring co-ordination with all procedures in place for approval of artworks, packaging raw materials, and other required documents for exports.
  • Communicating and visiting the vendors as and when required.
  • Demand forecasting & supply planning in coordination with the internal teams.
