Job Description

  • Lead finance process of the Pharma organization, aligning with the organisation’s objectives to drive profitability, growth, and operational efficiency across business and subsidiaries.
  • Experienced in Purchase and Sales Operation processes in Domestic and International Markets
  • Provide financial expertise to senior management and the Board on all financial matters, Import/ Export benefits and regular updates/insights for strategic decision-making and supporting long-term planning and forecasting.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly/quarterly/annual accounts, P&L statements, balance sheets, MIS reporting, Payroll operations, cash flow reports, and other key financial metrics.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate projection of revenues, costs, and capital expenditures across the business segments.
  • Ensure robust accounting practices, timely financial reporting, GST Refunds, Duty Draw back realization, other government scheme realizations as applicable and compliance with Indian Accounting Standards /International Finance reporting Standards, taxation laws, RBI, Companies Act, Pvt ltd company guidelines and other government regulations.
  • Ensure transparency and regulatory compliance by developing and implementing robust risk management strategies to minimize financial risks related to export/import operations, manufacturing plant project operations and currency fluctuations.
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes affecting the pharma export sector and adapt strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Oversee internal controls to prevent fraud, errors, and non-compliance with statutory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance.
  • Manage working capital requirements, cash flows, and liquidity to support ongoing operations and new investments.
  • Coordinate with Banks and financial institutions, for Working capital finance and Term finance, application, related documentation and operations.
  • Monitor and report the financial health of current business and proposed projects
  • Hands on experience with Statutory Audits, Internal Audits etc.
  • Any other work as and when assigned by the Company.
