Job Description

  • Proven track record and expertise in managing Sourcing of SRA Market for API, excipients, packing materials of pharmaceutical dosage forms.  
  • Strong knowledge, network & experience on API source identification  
  • Sound Knowledge of RLD (Reference listed drugs) suppliers OR sources identification  
  • Hands on API price negotiation & documentation  
  • Should be able to make Vs buy in sourcing decisions.  
  • Close co-ordination with R&D team  
  • Ensure delivery of RM/API/Excipients at the right price, time & quality, for finished product production.  
  • Ensure delivery of raw materials for site transfer & new launched requirements and to meet the launch timelines.  
  • Convert PRs to POs & arrange deliveries at formulations plants on time.  
  • Handle Raw Materials rejections and CAPA.  
  • Co-ordinate with stakeholders & prepare RM budget for formulation plants.  
  • Co-ordinate with vendors & CQA to arrange vendor site audits.  
  • Co-ordinate with vendors to arrange technical documentation as required by the CQA team for vendor qualification and RA team for filing purposes.  
  • Prepare monthly MIS including market information on the products.  
  • Co-ordination with Regulatory & vendors for agency query response.  
  • Should be a team player as co-ordination with multiple teams is a crucial part of job role.
