Job Description

  • Knowledge of import and export steps and procedures. Reviews paperwork and documents to ensure smooth custom clearance, shipping/transportation, handling etc.
  • Prepare and/or process import and export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures. Clear goods through customs and move to their destinations for clients.  
  • To liaise with customers, logistics operations and various internal departments for planning and tracking the movement of goods to ensure goods are cleared through customs department. He / She is required to record documentation with high accuracy and precision.
  • To supports import and export operations including co-ordination with Shipping Line, CFS, Transporters any other vendors appointed by the Co. 
  • Prepare and submit MIS reports related to role
  •  Monitor and update changes in Government policies through notification related to export and import procedures and communicate all stake holders for compliance.
