Job Description

·         To review, update and approve SOPs required for maintenance of all equipment and   utilities.

·         To perform preventive maintenance of all equipment e.g., Laminar flow units, Vibro-Sifter, Conta Blender, Rapid Mixer Granulator, Comil / Multi mill, Tablet

·         compression machine, Auto-coater, Blister packing machine, as per respective preventive maintenance SOPs and maintain records for the same.

·         To perform preventive maintenance of all utilities eg., feed water, RO water plant and distribution loop, air compressors, AHU, air – conditioners and UPS, as per the respective preventive maintenance SOPs and maintain records for the same.

·         To draft new SOPs for preventive maintenance and operation for equipment and utilities, wherever applicable.

·         To report any equipment / utility malfunction to the GM Operations / designee and carry out breakdown maintenance.

·         To maintain adequate inventory of spares and tools for carrying out the maintenance activities.

·         To maintain records for usage and for machine history.

·         To prepare a periodic summary of activities carried out.

·         To maintain electrical fixtures & lights along with inventory records.

·         To enter into AMC with appropriate vendors and ensure update of technical agreements.

·         To assist the vendors when carrying out repair works on site.

·         To assist the vendors for carrying out equipment installation / validation activity and maintain records.

·         To identify appropriate vendors for carrying out repairs / upgradation work in the premises.

·         Preparing Engineering budget for repairs/maintenance and new projects.
