Job Description

  • Find & develop qualified leads (cold calling), and convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers. 
  • Continuously keep the sales pipeline full with deals at various types and stages, including fresh/new (qualified) leads/introductions, mid and late stage sales life cycle targets. 
  • The ideal sales pipeline will always be full with a wide variety of account types, company sizes, diversified industries 
  • Engage as per plan with prospects and customers to present the company services, o Always nurturing relationships up the value stream (value added role). Advocates for both the company and the customer, striving to find win-win solutions that expand and further client relationships
  • Take the support of team leader & build good customer base o Act as a consultant for customers and understand his business to expand the wallet share. Customer on boarding with BES 
  • Sales visit plan o Create a sales visit plan for self covering the assigned territory through a weekly/monthly calendar to qualified prospects and existing customers. o Weekly/monthly sales visit summary details to be submitted to Team leaders. 
  • Marketing strategies o Create a marketing plan for direct shipper total logistic solution. o Explore new verticals by commodity or biz type viz Air, LCL, Imports, SCM and create marketing plans. 
  • Credit management and recoveries o Execute Credit agreement through a customer validation process. o Recovery of customer DSO and overdues. o Dispute management and resolution with in 48 hours. o Comply with the company credit policy
